Admission Requirements

Morrison University has several requirements for all potential applicants, to help maintain a strong, intellectual student body.

To meet admission requirements, applicants must:

  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Be able to demonstrate high school completion
  • Have English proficiency

To apply for admission to Morrison, applicants must complete an online application, including payment of a $75 non-refundable Application Fee.

Non-Native English Speakers

In addition, applicants who are non-native English speakers, or did not complete their high school education in an institution where the primary language of instruction is English, are required to provide proof of English proficiency during their application process. Should applicants be unable to provide proof of English proficiency, they will need to successfully complete a Morrison English course before proceeding to Morrison Foundations.

Title of the program: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

Description:

Members of our sponsoring business organizations may apply for admission for Morrison’s doctoral program. The DBA curriculum blends taught interdisciplinary content and research seminars with assessed scholarly and professional development activities. The program culminates in an applied research project focused on a real problem facing today’s business leaders and managers.

Over the course of the program, students develop the capacity to work independently and more in depth, moving from prescribed content in the first year of the program, to supervised scholarly activities in the second year, to independent, applied research focused on their areas of interest in the third year. Students may choose their own specialized field of study within business.

The minimum requirements for students to apply for this doctoral program are:

  • Applicant is a member GAME, IABP, or LBAIE in good standing and one of the following:
    • Completed a two-year diploma and a minimum 10 years of working experience in middle management and above
    • OR a bachelor’s degree and five years of working experience in middle management or above
    • OR a master’s degree and two years of working experience in middle management or above
 

Title of the program: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Description:

This program combines conventional academic training with applied learning. Students complete eleven MBA courses and a final project. The project may be made of one of the following:

  • The Business Start-Up option. This will allow students to put together a new business plan for a company they work for, a company they own, or another company with approval from their instructor.

OR

  • Students may choose the Individual Consultancy Project (ICP) option. This will students to complete a paper based on original research with the supervision of a faculty member. The student must submit an official proposal to their instructor.

Requirements for admission into this program include:

  • Applicant is a member of GAME, IABP, or LBAIE, in good standing and one of the following:
    • Completed a two-year diploma in any field and a minimum four years of working experience at the supervisory level
    • OR completed a bachelor’s degree in any field and a minimum of two years working experience at the supervisor level
    • OR completed a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

 

Title of the program: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Description:

This program is self-study and covers a wide range of business topics. Students complete thirty courses and a capstone course.

Requirements for admission into this program include:

  • Applicant is a member of GAME, IABP, or LBAIE, in good standing and possesses a high school diploma.
